Personal Notes:
The traveling fellowship program of the ASEAN Orthopaedic Association had been very satisfying in terms of educational, social, cultural and scientific experiences. The venues of these exchanges were not only the hospitals/universities but also at the dinner tables and the vehicles (cars/planes) utilized during the trip. Having rubbed elbows with the who’s who of the ASEAN Orthopaedic roster is at the same time an elevating and humbling experience.
On behalf of the 16th ASEAN traveling fellows- my heartfelt gratitude to the 2002 ASEAN Othropaedic Association Leadership, The AOA president Dr. Ucok Siregar, the Secretary General, Dr. Ong Leong Boon, for the privilege.
